South Wales Limo: Terms and Conditions

1.The event begins when the limousine leaves our premises and ends on the return to those premises. The named client is responsible for any breakages, losses or damage to the vehicle during the event. The vehicle is checked prior to dispatch and on return to our premises.
2. It should be noted that all Limousines under British Law "Hire and Reward" can seat up to a maximum of eight people only, in any size of Limousine unless, the vehicle has been issued with a COIF Certificate; it is illegal to carry more than eight people and we will not break the law and risk prosecution. Please beware of companies advertising larger seating capacities as they are acting illegally and are not insured in the event of an accident.
3. Clients are reminded that the Limousine is for Private Hire only. If some of the original party travelling do not return, no other people are to enter the vehicle in their place without permission from the proprietor.
4. It is advisable to book the Limousine early in order to secure the required date and time to avoid disappointment as not everyone can have the same time on the return journey.
5. To secure the date required the named client agrees to pay a deposit of not less than 50% of the balance immediately on booking the Limousine. It becomes a formal booking when personal details are exchanged. You have a 7 day cancellation period from the time of booking. If the Limousine is cancelled after the 7 days or you do not inform us in writing of the cancellation (no email or text), you will be invoiced for any out standing deposit, due to other work being turned down for the same day/night and subsequent loss of profit. We only accept cancellations in writing and any deposit or money taken is non refundable.
6. If the Limousine is booked less than 28 days prior to the event, the event should be paid for in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed by the proprietor. When Personal details are exchanged it becomes a Legal Binding Contract with you the client and South Wales Limo as the Limousine has been reserved the date and times you require.
7. For High Demand Events i.e. Weddings, Proms etc any Bookings taken and cancelled outside the 7 days will be charged immediately for the Full amount, due to the Limousine reserved for the Date /Time required and other Bookings turned down. If a Wedding is postponed for another date the Limousine has to be paid up in full immediately and an Amendment Fee will be charged. Weddings cancelled has to be paid up in full immediately and the money is Non Refundable due to other booking turned down for the same date and time and subsequent Loss of Profit.
8. Any balance outstanding is to be paid in full 28 days prior to the commencement of the event. We do not take any money on the day/night of the event. Failure to pay the balance by the due date results in the immediate cancellation of the booking and forfeits any monies or deposits taken. Any amendments to the booking has a charge of £25 to change the date pickup/return times and failure to inform of any cancellations or amendments as per original Booking Form will be charged.
9. Should a client cancel a booking more than 28 days prior to the event, shall forfeit the deposit or any money taken only. The deposit or any money taken is is Non Refundable.
10. AIRPORT TRANSFERS. On Airport collections, the first half hour is included in the price. Any waiting past the half hour is costed at £25 per half hour. Any flights routed to another airport or delayed for more than 6 hours will not be collected, and no refunds will be given due to prior commitments with the Limousine.
11. In the event of mechanical breakdown or the equipment used in the event or any unforeseen circumstances, the organiser will do his best to provide a suitable alternative. Should a suitable alternative not be available a pro rata refund will be given. No responsibility will be taken for any consequential loses occurred.
12. Should adverse weather conditions occur, unforeseen road conditions such as traffic jams or road works, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the organiser cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen conditions or loses resulting from such conditions. The organiser will do his best endeavours to provide a suitable alternative or route where possible.
13. Due to the narrowness and unsuitability of some of the roads. It is sometimes impossible to pick up or drop off outside an agreed pick up point or venue. The driver will endeavour to pick up/drop off at the nearest main road or bus route that is safely possible.
14. There are two pick ups/drop off included in the price. If more a required there will be an additional charge per drop off, to be arranged at the time of booking.
15. Laser lights are used as standard equipment during the event, anyone who suffers with Photo Sensitive Epilepsy or a similar condition, please inform the driver immediately on entering the vehicle and the lights can be turned off immediately.
16. For you child's safety during Children's Parties one parent must be present at all times during the event. Seat Belts are to be worn at all times and there is to be no standing whilst the Limousine is in motion. If child or baby seats are required, it is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to ensure these are fitted correctly in the forward facing seats. The organiser holds no responsibility for fitting the seats.
17. For safety of clients and possible damage to the Limousine, passengers are requested to keep their feet on the floor at all times and must not rest their feet on the seating or Bar Area.
18. No food, chewing gum or beverages other than that provided by the organiser may be consumed during the event. Under no circumstances is smoking permitted in the Limousine.
19. South Wales Limo holds no responsibility for any personal items such as hand bags, suitcases, mobile phones, wedding presents etc. which are lost, stolen or are damaged during the event.
20. For extra special occasions we offer packages which include Flowers, Champagne, Chocolates and personalised items such as Hand made Helium Balloons or personalised ribbon for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc. Please include these when booking the Limousine as they have to be ordered.
21. The organiser reserves the right of entry to the vehicle for anyone who is deemed unsuitable by virtue of illness, injury, behaviour, or intoxication or for any other reason. In such circumstances at the discretion of the organiser the event may be terminated with immediate effect, and no or partial refund will be given.
22. Should any participant damage or foul the equipment/vehicle provided a charge of £100 shall become immediately payable in cash by the named client in addition to any cost of repairs. The event will be terminated immediately and no or partial refund will be given. Any Glassware which is broken or stolen is the responsibility of the hirer and must be paid for immediately in cash at £5 per Glass, £25 per Decanter.
23. Confirmation of a booking (when booking details are taken over the phone or in person), confirms acceptance for these Terms and Conditions.
